Snapdeal Launches Free Same Day Delivery
Following in
the footsteps of Amazon India and Flipkart, online retailer Snapdeal has
launched its version of guaranteed same-day shipping, called 'Express
Delivery'. The service will initially only be available in Delhi-NCR
(specifically Delhi and Gurgaon), but will soon be expanded to cities such as
Bangalore and Mumbai.
Snapdeal's
Express Delivery service seems to be a little more limited than what is offered
by its counterparts, with the service only available on select products, which
will be marked prominently on the website. However, unlike its counterparts,
the Snapdeal Express Delivery service is free (for now) and offers same day
delivery, compared to next-day delivery offered by the likes of Flipkart and
Amazon.
