No comments :

Ever since the time Nokia launched its famed 41-megapixel 808 PureView smartphone, there have been news reports suggesting that the Finnish smartphone company will be launching a similar camera module in its Windows Phone line-up as well. As per previous rumours, this smartphone has been dubbed Nokia Lumia EOS. Now, a fresh report by WPCentral claims that Nokia Lumia EOS is already being tested by AT&T. This website also claims that Nokia Lumia EOS is indeed codenamed Elvis. The Finnish smartphone maker is looking at releasing this smartphone sometime in July. It is being touted that the Nokia Lumia EOS will be 1mm thinner than the Nokia Lumia 920 and will come with a big camera hump.

Apart from the 41-megapixel camera sensor, this smartphone is rumoured to have OLED display, which has a screen resolution of 768X1280 and 32GB of internal storage. Much like the other smartphones in the Lumia series, Nokia Lumia EOS too is expected to come with a polycarbonate body and will not support microSD card. This smartphone is also alleged to come with Flip to silence feature. In addition to the Lumia EOS, Nokia is also expected to be working on tablet. As per news report by NokiaPowerUser.com, AT&T is also testing a tablet device. The report also adds that this tablet is also being tested in other markets but does not mention the markets or the operators testing this tablet. Furthermore, the report claims that this tablet will come pre-installed with an exclusive app by Adidas. So far the other specifications for the tablet remain sketchy. As per the speculations, Nokia is looking at a July launch for the tablet as well. So it is likely that the Nokia tablet maybe announced along with the Nokia Lumia EOS. Nokia is trying hard to regain its leadership in the mobile space and an entry into the tablet space will be welcomed by its patrons. However, there are plenty of established players now offering their tablets and it will be interesting to see how Nokia fares in this segment.
